Hello!

My name is Colleen. I'm the creator ̴ knitter ̴ owner of

The Good Heart. So glad you stopped by for a visit.

Knitting is my zen. My happy place. Creating things for pets and their people brings me joy and is a lot of fun.

I started this business for two reasons: to be creative with my knitting and to give to nonprofits. There are so many wonderful organizations in our area, and they need our help.

When you buy something from The Good Heart, you get the benefit of owning or gifting a beautiful hand-made item and helping these local nonprofits. That's because 20% of all profits are donated. Check out the Giving page for recent recipients.
